| CROSS CULTURAL APPROACH |
| Communicating in the Global Market Place |
Founded by two partners from two continents, A&O was born as an international company. Our international network and expertise allows us to match and raise international design standards, and at the same time, provide solutions that cross cultural borders yet speak a common language.
Developing global communications solutions is one of the most challenging aspects of working in a global market place. Given the various geographies, languages, cultures and conventions in different countries, our design process involves many cultural considerations. Creative concepts, imagery, colours, typography and symbols are developed to ensure that users identify with the client and product as intended. It is an integral part of all our design projects to meet cross cultural communication challenges.
As part of our cultural design services we:
 |
Apply our expertise to cross cultural communication challenges |
 |
Develop most design solutions in international teams |
 |
Test our designs in international markets, while it is in the development stage |
 |
Manage translation services that go beyond merely translating the language, through to addressing culture-specific issues. |
Cross-cultural communication at A&O does not stop at merely translating a given message into a different language. We walk the talk across countries in not only the language, but also the dialect of the customer. By utilizing culture-specific communication models, in the correct medium, we ensure that the message is not lost or diluted in translation. |
