CROSS CULTURAL APPROACH
Case Study :
Spectator Newspapers, Northern Ireland |
Spectator Newspapers in Northern Ireland asked us to redesign and modernise their visual identity. One of their preferences was to keep orange as part of their colour scheme.
Although orange has very strong political and religious associations in the Northern Irish conflict, this was not of particular relevance to our client. We handled the colour shade and the use of the colour with care to avoid irrelevant associations. Ways of doing that was to choose were warm, almost red shades of orange, and colour gradations which included orange as part of a yellow, orange and red colour scheme.
